- Logging into the Plesk panel.

DNS record editing is done through the Plesk panel and your hosting account.

You will need to log into the Plesk panel where your domain name is hosted.

If you do not know the link to the Plesk panel, you can either check the initial email activation of your account or directly log in through the customer area.

- Configuring records.

We select Websites & Domains -> Hosting & DNS -> DNS settings

We will see the list of all DNS records for the specific domain name.

Here we can add, remove, or modify any DNS record we want.

- Examples.

- MX record

If we want to modify the MX record, we click on the existing one and in the "Mail exchange server" field, we remove the existing entry or add a new one.

The new record will be registered, and we will see the "update" button at the top of the page to complete the changes.

- A record

If we want to add a new A record, we click on the "Add record" button. In the corresponding fields, we enter the name and IP address, and then click "Update" to complete the changes.

- TXT/SPF record

When we need to edit the SPF/TXT record, we do not add a new one, but rather edit the existing one.

We should not remove the IP address of the web server, as this will cause problems with email delivery to your recipients' inboxes.

You can use the following guide to create the TXT/SPF record.
